浮世绘的创始人菱川师宣（？～1694）因《回眸美人图》而出名。静嘉堂收藏的《十二个月风俗图卷》是师宣凭借独特的绘画能力生动地表现平民生的大型华丽画卷。本次展览除了师宣的屏风和画卷外，还将探索包括英一蝶和宫川派在内的师宣画派。

怀石料理指的是正式茶会、即茶道会中在饮用抹茶前所上的“款待”菜肴。本次展览将一次性展出涂物（漆器）、向付（凉菜小盘）、钵（小钵）等静嘉堂收藏的怀石料理餐具。此外同时展出高档茶具，请欣赏构成茶道会的餐具的高雅设计。
